The rod has a length of 1.85m with a casting power of 1 – 3g and a regular fast action, while the recommended line diameter is MF #0.25 - #0.5 / PE #0.2-#0.4. As a small side note, the # sign comes from the traditional Japanese line measurement system known as Gou. Due to its regular fast action, the rod is suitable for fishing lures ranging from 1g up to 2.5g, whether they are cranks, spoons, or vibe lures.

Lanseta are o lungime de 1.85m cu putere de aruncare de 1 – 3g si o actiune regular fast, iar diametrul firului recomandat este de MF #0.25 - #0.5 / PE #0.2-#0.4. Ca o mica paranteza semnul # vine de la sistemul traditional japonez de masurare a firelor cunoscut sub denumirea Gou. Datorita actiunii regular fast lanseta este potrivita pentru pescuitul nalucilor ce pornesc de la 1g pana la 2.3g, fie ca sunt crankuri, lingurite ori vibe lures. 

Each rod in the Artisan Competition range features a different colored wrapping in the spigot joint areas, facilitating the quick selection of the rod and its power class. The AATS-61L/RF model has a green wrapping, which makes it easy to recognize during trout area competitions. The green color was selected for the light power class.

Fiecare lanseta din gama Artisan Competition dispune de un matisaj colorat diferit in zonele de mufare, facilitand selectia rapida a lansetei si clasei de putere din care face parte. Modelul AATS-61L/RF are un matisaj verde, ceea ce il face usor de recunoscut in timpul competitiilor de trout area. Culoare verde a fost selectata pentru clasa de putere light. 

Personally, I use this Artisan Competition AATS-61L/RF rod equipped with a size 2000 reel, and for line, I use ester because it allows for long casts and very good control during the fight even if the fish are slightly larger. Besides this, the rod feels fantastic even with small lures. Following numerous fishing sessions with this model, I've found that it performs excellently with 1.7g vibe lures, 1.9-2.3g cranks, jerk minnows, and Killer Bug 23.

Personal folosesc acesta lanseta Artisan Competition AATS-61L/RF echipata cu o mulineta marimea 2000, iar ca fir folosesc ester pentru ca imi permite aruncari la distanta si un control foarte bun in drill chiar daca pestii sunt putin mai mari, iar pe langa acest lucru lanseta se simte fantastic si cu naluci mici. In urma numeroaselor partide de pescuit cu acest model am constatat ca acesta se descurca excelent cu cicade de 1.7g, crank-uri de 1.9-2.3g, jerk minnow-uri si Killer Bug 23. 

The rod is built on a blank made from different types of carbon, including TORAYCA T1100G carbon, to create the perfect regular fast action. The guides are Fuji with a titanium frame and SiC ring, and their configuration greatly helps the angler in using both PE and ester lines.

Lanseta este construita pe un blank realizat din diferite tipuri de carbon printre care regasim si carbonul TORAYCA T1100G, pentru a creea actiunea regular fast perfecta. Inelele sunt Fuji cu cadru de titan si pastila SiC, configuratia acestora ajutand foarte mult pescarul in a folosi fire PE cat si fire ester.
